First let me say I have never liked pumpkin spice coffee. I tried a PSL from Starbucks about a decade ago and found the first coffee drink I couldn't finish. I've tried pumpkin spice coffees, thinking maybe it was the excess sugar I didn't like, and come away with a soap taste. But I love pumpkin bread and I love spices, so it never made sense. I saw this and thought, "Surely CoffeeAM's version won't taste like soap. People seem to like it. I'll try a half-pound and if I hate it, it won't be a big loss." I LOVE IT! If all pumpkin spice coffee tasted like this, I would've been a pumpkin spice fan from the beginning. I would've understood the PSL hype all along. The spice profile is balanced and pleasant, and the pumpkin notes aren't overpowering. My only regret is not buying more!
I admit, I didn't think I was a fan of Pumpkin Spice flavored coffee - but I decided to try this, and was very glad that I did. This was my 2nd purchase of a bag, which tells you what a shift I have found in my own taste. This coffee is really very good - I love the spice, and the gentle pumpkin flavor is a wonderful treat truly heralding Fall. No bitterness or aftertaste - and I look forward to my next pot of it. Very happy that I tried it!
My wife is a Pumpkin Spice junkie. From her baking, to her creamer to this wonderful tasting Pumpkin Spice. She have tried a few other roasters and CoffeeAm just has the flavor she is looking for, so much so, I just ordered another 2 bags for her. As compared to two other brands the roaster just ensures one can smell the brew and the cinnamon spice is differently there.
We finished off first bag of PUMPKIN SPICE FLAVORED COFFEE. I�m hoping that the bag was tagged WRONG! It said PUMPKIN SPICE. It had my name on the sticker, but the coffee had zero cent, smell nor taste of pumpkin spice. Just tasted like generic grocery coffee . Coffee wasn�t bad, it just wasn�t pumpkin spice coffee!Coffee had no real flavor at all.
I have been buying the Pumpkins Spice for many years. The bag I recently received was a bit more than bland. In my opinion, it lacks the flavor I am used to. I add a few shakes of pumpkin spice from the spice cabinet so if you are experiencing the same blah blah, bland maybe you can 'spice' it up too. It does help.
